A snowy day at Kirkwood on Tuesday, with 4-5inches of fresh snow on a firm base giving good quick conditions making Thunder Saddle a blast on skis and blades. Over a foot of fresh but sticky and heavy snow overnight turned Tuesday's skier's ego trip routes down Thunder Saddle into one hellish survival course on anything other than a board! Even those on ultra wide powder skis were struggling!
