Report
After fluctating temperatures during the week, colder conditions have returned and the freeze/thaw cycle has consolidated the snow to further build the base. A little snow loss from the lower slopes, but on the whole the runs retain a good cover of firm to hard packed snow, and fresh snow was falling again on Friday to freshen things up.
The best route to the Cas Carpark remain the M2/Daylodge Poma route, but the Fiaciall Ridge has done some catching up and thanks to drifting mid-week is now loaded with snow between the fences. All carpark runs are complete also, but some thinner areas lower down.
Excellent cover up top for learning, but also plenty of space around the Sheiling Tow and the lower slopes as an alternative. Plenty on offer for all skill levels, with all runs other than the Ciste Gully area complete and open.
