[Fri] Looking down the Ptarmigan Traverse which has a wide drifted cover along the fence line.
[Fri] Heading up the Ptarmigan Tow into the wind. Base still quite narrow in the bowl, but it was improving.
[Fri] Heading down the Gunbarrel to the Funicular. Improved over the past week, helped by snow being shoved down from the Zig Zags.
Why the White Lady was the better option for good skiers/boarders on Sat, getting down the Traverse was a struggle against the South wind.
A bit of a blow at the Top Station! Something is brewing, hopefully something good.
On the White Lady, there is a complete base back to the middle, but need to link the snow beds to some extent. Should improve with S to SW winds and drifting.

A small selection of photos from the 'Gorm on Friday and Saturday. With new snow falling at dusk on Saturday and very high overnight winds things on the mountain will have changed, in most cases hopefully for the better.
These photos though give a good indication of the base and the good news is that we're not starting from scratch and there is a solid base in many key areas. Not a huge amount of snow will bring a significant improvement in the offering and open terrain. The White Lady, M1, Gunbarrel all have a base to build from on the Cas Side.
Over in Coire Na Ciste the East Wall Gullies and Ciste Gullies have a base to build from, the lower parts of the East Wall gullies were complete on Thursday and the Ciste Gully had a base for most of it's length with a few breaks further down. The existing base for much of it means now snow on South winds should funnel down and it will take much less snow to plug the breaks than starting from Scratch.
Thanks to H11lly for the photos and fingers crossed.
