Report
Another fantastic very early season day with great overhead and long sunny spells and just a little hazy high level cloud. A slight skin first thing on the snow quickly softened to give great surface conditions, with all the main Cas side runs seeing loads of action even though only the Traverse/105/Cas route was pisted.
The M1 RaceTrack out via Horizon Road, then down the lower 105 was the pick of the middle routes, with the snow tracked by sweet to ski on the RaceTrack. White Lady was more chopped up, but it and the East Lady were all getting plenty of attention.
The M2 was well pisted to the top of the Daylodge Poma where the run was unpisted, but skier packed snow made it a fairly decent run back to the base station and well worth it for the M2. Even the Loagh Mor Return to the Ciste Carpark was see action, but with no shuttle bus it was a hitch or hike back round to the Cas side.
CairnGorm Mountain is now in it's annual shutdown and all uplift is closed till 6th December. The Daylodge and Christmas Market will be open daily through till then. Photos by Winterhighland - check Public Reports and forum for more pix.
