Drifts along the Ptarmigan Traverse Fence line. Could have skied it back to the Top Station.
Looking over the boulder field below the Ptarmigan Traverse fence line into the Bowl.
The Traverse from high on the Fiacaill Ridge.
The Plateau from the top of the Fiacaill.
Looking down the Marquis Well, enough to have laid some tracks!!
The WWP track, M2 and Ciste Fairway starting to fill in. Will any drifts last the mild snap till the next colder spell?

Is that snow I smell?
A colder few days with snow showers on at times very strong winds has blasted snow into the higher fence lines giving the higher runs on the 'Gorm a wintry flavour.
Milder tonight but given the forecast we could well see further autumnal snow falls over the next 7 days. There was just about enough fresh to lay some tracks at the top today - sd if anyone managed to claim the first tracks of 08/09 send us the photos please!!
It all adds to the excitement and the anticipation!! So now would be a good time for a blatant plug for Warren Miller's Children of Winter and our Perth, Inverness and Aberdeen shows. The must see start to winter and a great way to catch up with fellow Winterhighlanders.
Also if your feeling it getting chilly, we've got a band new batch of Winterhighland Beanies coming in - click shop up top for more info (each beanie helps pay for all those GBs of bandwidth these photos use each winter!)
Thanks to H11lly (Helen Rennie) for the Photos. If you've been out in the snow, send your photos to pix2009@winterhighland.info or post a public report.
