Woohooooooo!! Hows this for the 1st of November!
Playing around at the top of the Eagle Pomas.
Waist deep fresh drifts by the top of the Falcon Poma.
Looking over the Grouse Poma and Run. Ski just about anywhere between the fences.
Fresh tracks on the Buzzard side for those prepared to earn some freshies.
Hiking to the top of the Falcon from the Grouse to get some freshies and extra vertical.

Report
The 1st of November and the second day of the season at the Lecht and it was another cracker. More settled weather than Friday with lots of hazy sunshine made for a fantastic first weekend. Big dump of fresh snow Thursday into Friday, then a bluebird weekend - Here's hoping we see more of this combo during the 2009 season.
The open runs are all full width with lots of scope for laying down turns outwith the fence lines and for those prepared to expand a bit of effort scope for longer fresh lines around the slopes of the Harrier and Falcon and for the ultra keen the option of hiking the Buzzard for the really untouched stuff.
Thanks to Gunni (Jamie Gunn) and Ross McKinnon for the photos. Check out the Public Reports for lots more from the opening weekend.
