Friday was a day for using the Force! Flat light on the lower slopes and very poor visibility above mid-station when snow showers came in, which was pretty much continiously during the afternoon.
Really not a day for getting photos, only some of the lower slopes and Gunbarrel here, but as you can see the cover is very good on the lower slopes, further up it's even better with fantastic sport in prospect for all abilities.
A further covering of fresh has been put down and surface conditions range from superb machine packed powder where pisted to a mix of deep fresh powder, skier tracked and skier packed powder. The amount of snow which fell in light winds mean it's possible to ski over some of the boulder field areas, but beware of the potential for catching things just below the surface in these areas, such as skiers left of the Cas and the East Lady.
All Cas side runs complete with full width cover with plenty of the open slopes between runs also rideable. Daylodge full width but unpisted, M2 as far as visible from Daylodge Poma looked to have filled and OverYonder was loaded.
All available uplift scheduled for Saturday. Currently spewing in Aviemore, so there will be more fresh in the morning.
