Report
A selection of photos from Nevis Range on Thursday. The action is on the upper mountain with the Goose Tow loading at Tower and while the upper Goose retains a wide cover and the Summit Runs are in good shape, there is a fraction of the snow on the front that there is in the Back Corries.
Those prepared to hike of with touring kit can get some fantastic spring descents in at the moment, check with patrol for the latest though. It's possible to drop into Coire Dubh and traverse most of the way to Rob Roy, just a couple of short bits of walking. From there you have to hoof Rob Roys Return, about 15mins, but for experts it's a more rewarding way off the mountain at the end of the day and the downloading the Quad and walking back over to the Gondola.
