Simply a beautiful day to be in the hills with with light winds, sunshine and great snow conditions. The piste bashers are serving up packed powder corduroy on the groomers each morning, get up early to lay the first carves on the blank canvas!
The Cliffhanger Chairlift re-opened on Saturday afternoon, giving Glencoe a full compliment of uplift and the same is scheduled for tomorrow. Likewise the forecast is for more of the same tomorrow, so get up and enjoy it!
The full 2400ft Summit to moor vertical is doable, the fenced low level Red Access Run has good cover on the top3/4s, but the lower 2-300m is thin packed cover and though combat is quite passable for experienced skiers and boarders. The Blue Access Run has great snow out in the gullies and there's hardly visited natural snowfields way out beyond the Low Road on the Plateau too.
Don't forget the suncream and shades as there was a number of lobsters coming off the mountain on Saturday afternoon!
