Report
A bluebird Monday with virtually no wind and cold temperatures keeping the snow fresh and in excellent condition. All runs on the mountain are open from the top of the Access Chair including the Flypaper, though this needs assessed on a daily basis.
Excellent cover of snow now over the whole mountain with plenty of fresh turns for the early birds and on the groomed runs a machine packed powder corduroy to start. A few harder scraped areas sometimes under a loose cover of snow on Rannoch Glades and the East Ridge.
There is excellent riding for all ability levels on offer. For first timers in the snowsports school there is almost limitless areas on the Plateau. The triangle of green runs served by the Plateau Poma and new Coire Pollach Tow continue to offer superb terrain and conditions for early intermediates seeking longer green runs, with Old Mugs Alley continuing to be the pick.
Lots more photos and a full report available in the Public Report submitted by Eagles (Ken). If you have been out on the slopes, please spare a few minutes to submit a report.
