Last night brought 5 to 6 inches of fresh snow to the slopes of Meall a' Bhuiridh, giving spring fresh tracks for the early birds.

Across the mountain all runs are complete and everything still links together fully with all uplift operating on Monday including the Rannoch Button, which meant no queues.

For novices upto early intermediates Old Mugs Alley for the new Coire Pollach Tow remains the pick, all the Plateau Runs are complete so the triangle of green runs here gives plenty of options for easier terrain. The Low Road was bashed out several machine widths wide. There are some fun lines further out on the Plateau worth exploring.

Base is starting firm, but mostly grippy, softening slightly at most levels without making the fresh snow sticky and slow. Just the odd harder scrapped patch at the top of the mountain.

Forecast is set fair through the mid-week period, mix of Sunny Spells and scattered convective snow showers Tuesday and Wednesday - these will be slow moving in the light winds. Heads up that Thursday is looking like a bluebird day on the current forecasts - certainly get up if you can over the next 3 days!
