A selection of depressing photos from around Meall 'a Bhuiridh, which shows the problem of this winter, it's cold enough, the mountain is frozen with a dusting of snow, but that is it, we are in what is effectively a winter drought in Highland Scotland.
A very significant snow event is needed to get the main terrain open at Glencoe, it wouldn't take a great deal of snow to open the Plateau, but the nature of the terrain above that means a good base is required for snowsports to get underway.
