Report
Tuesday stayed overcast and often misty at Glenshee, which missed out on the late appearance of blue sky which CairnGorm got late afternoon, however after the weekend storm there was excellent sport on offer on the available terrain which on Tuesday was limited only by the scale of post storm preparation work required to open up the further out lifts.
Sunday's storms and most importantly the Southerly wind has completed the job the Northerly storms couldn't do and filled in the runs facing more North, and the greatly improved the fenced runs towards the Southern side of the Area. The Tiger is now complete and in good shape for real experts, and at the gentler scale of things runs like the Sunnyside Chair and Cluny runs are also much improved. All runs are now complete, and more uplift will open up through the next few days as further out lifts have their tracks pisted out, and in some cases the lifts need digging out but most of the area should be accessible on Wednesday.
Thanks to Bobby Boarder for the photos and 'Chazzy' for the additional photo of the Cairnwell Chairlift. Please see our public reports server for a further two albums from Glenshee on Tuesday. Please send your photos to pix@winterhighland.com .
