While there has been some snow loss on the lower slopes, higher up there has been a net gain in the base as fluctuating temperatures consolidated last weekends snow, there is still good top to Daylodge riding, and excellent sport on the middle and upper mountain.
For experts there is great spring sport on the White Lady, the M1, the Ciste Gully, the Aonach Bowl and the East and West Walls. For novices there is superb learning areas in the Ptarmigan Bowl, and plenty of areas on the lower slopes also. Great spring sport for Easter weekend and no queues to speak off on Friday, with at least 3 lifts to get you from the Cas Carpark and the M2/Daylodge, Carpark Runs and Fiacaill ridge all available for returning to the Carpark queues for lifts should not be a problem. Get up there!
Thanks to Bobbyboarder for Friday's photos from the Gorm. If you have been out please send your photos to pix@winterhighland.com .
