Cliff Drop near, Main Basin Tows behind.

More Air....

Launching into the Main Basin.

View down to the Plateau, run is narrow but still plenty snow on the up-track.

Very quiet car park at 9am Sunday.

Excellent spring snow sport in the Main Basin, good wide cover.

Some will tell you spring is king for Scottish Snowsports, and it's hard to argue when you get a fine day with excellent spring snow sport at Glencoe. Though the milder conditions last weekend did result in snow loss lower down, leaving lower runs thin and narrow in places, the Plateau Poma track still has plenty of snow and further up there is great sport and good cover on the upper mountain, esp on the Main Basin, Spring Run and the Flypaper. Forget terrain parks, Glencoe is a huckers paradise when conditions are like this, pick your line and drop it!

There is still riding to the Top of the Access Chair, so access to and from the upper slopes is no problem. Thanks to Twin Tipper and Douge Bryce for Sunday's Glencoe photos. If you have been out please send your photos to pix@winterhighland.com .
