High on the East Wall, traversing from the Ptarmigan Tow.

Spring bumps on the White Lady. Great fun sport for experts.

The new funboxes in place in the Ptarmigan Bowl, full cover and superb beginner areas.

M1 is in great shape for experts, but take care on the narrow link to the poma.

Upper Cas from the Traverse.

View down the Traverse, lots of snow on the off-piste area between the Cas and the Fiacaill T-bars.

Looking over Coire Cas from the FRP.

White Lady, M1 and Gunbarrel from the FRP, great spring sport.

The Ciste Gully, looking up to Base 4.

View down the Ciste Gully and traverse out over the West Wall. Better snow to the boardwalks, but requires a hike back to the poma from the mid-station.

West Wall Chairlift and Run from the Poma.

Ciste Fairway is in great shape, from the WW Poma.

View down the Aonach Bowl across overyonder and the Lower Aonach.

Coire Cas in great shape (Monday).

There is excellent spring riding to be had on the Upper and Middle slopes at CairnGorm Mountain, with plenty of good sport for all skill levels, whether you just want to make your first turns in the Ptarmigan Bowl where there is superb areas for learning, or want to carve up the West Wall.

Though the lower slopes have suffered in recent days, Top to Daylodge riding is still possible via the Carpark Run and the Fiacaill Ridge, but please follow the direct line via the Carpark Tow, as people have been taking early baths on the Burnside option of the Carpark Run! The Sheiling area is still complete for low level beginner areas if needed, but when the weather is fair, learners should head for the top.

Still great sport for experts on the M1, the White Lady, the East and West Walls, the Ciste Gully and the Aonach. Get up and get some spring turns in.

Thanks to Helen Rennie for Tuesday's photos from the Gorm. Additional photo of the Cas on Monday from 'Gaz'. Please send your photos to pix@winterhighland.com and remember to check the public reports server for other photos from the weekend.
