A thin and patchy cover remains on Sunnyside, but the uptracks still mostly there with good solid base after filling very well, could be important yet!

Glenshee is offering some very limited sport on the Claybokie thanks to the efforts with the snow cannons, it's full width between the fences on the lower half, but that is sadly about it for now.
A very limited patchy base remains, and the ground is for now frozen, so it could be worse, but we need snow soon to fall on the frozen ground, the longer it remains dry and cold, the greater the risk the thaw will come in before the snow, and we can't stress enough how important it is that we get the base building on cold frozen ground, it can make a huge difference later on.
One good thing remaining from the early snow is a now rock solid base on the Sunnyside Poma up-tracks, this could prove to be very useful later on, hopefully!
Thanks to Ian Denholm for the Glenshee photos. You can send your photos and get them on our Pix from the Slopes by emailing them to pix@winterhighland.com !
