Daylodge Poma made it's season debut on Sun, good moderate off-piste either side of the fences.

Coire Cas T-bar sporting a new coat paint.

Flood lights at the Top Station shine through the gloom, very flat light up top, but brilliant snow.

The lower slopes were often below the cloud.

Suddenly at dusk the weather cleared, looks like a cold one tonight.

They say the early bird catches the worm, for the best turns of today it was the opposite. Catching late turns on the Fiacall Ridge.

Taking advantage of clearing skies at nightfall to catch the last and best turns of the day of the Fiacaill Ridge Poma.

Clearing up at night fall, better visibility for Monday?

Once again great snow as it was on Saturday, but Sunday was distinctly different from the Bluebird Boxing Day with low cloud giving poor visibility and very flat light for much of the day.

Check out Saturday's photos to get a more general feel for cover and conditions as it wasn't possible to get any photos up top that showed up the cover today.

The Daylodge Poma made it's season debut and is well worth a visit, esp if lifts further up get busy. You can ski far out from the Poma to hunt out fresh lines off the Windy Ridge, but don't drop too low if you want to return to the Poma. The shuttle bus was running Sunday and if it does on Monday then it can be used in conjunction with the DLP to access some lower stashes on the Aonach Ridge.

As the light faded rapidly at the end of the day the clag started to clear, those who stayed for the last few runs undoubtedly caught the best runs of the day, under clearing skies with good visibility in the magical twilight light with a complete snowy vista beyond. Hopefully a sign that Monday will see much more bright spells on the 'Gorm.

Great riding for all ability levels on and off the pisted trails, if your thinking about your first or your umpteenth day of the 2010 season, get up there: this is the best Christmas period conditions for years.
