Some photos from the Main Basin and the Terrain Park which is under construction. The Main Basin is loaded with softening fresh snow that will become excellent granular spring snow with diurnal freeze-thaw cycling through the later part of the week into the weekend. Loads of space to crank up big wide turns in the Basin, Haggis Trap is buried so no air there, but you can continue to crank the turns now!
Spring Run and Flypaper also have a good base, but to cut back to the Main Basin T-bar take the fork that goes to skiers left on the Spring Run. If you ride the full length of the Flypaper some hoofing is required to get back to the lifts, or you can pick your way down the Plateau and wait for the Argo Taxi if your lazy! Wall doable by good skiers/boarders to get down the middle slopes, less experienced can download on the Cliffhanger Chair to get to/from the Main Basin.
Thanks to Growwild and the Glencoe Park Crew for the photos. More info on the park at www.glencoesnowpark.co.uk . Please send your photos to pix2007@winterhighland.info .
