Report
Summer has returned with another warm bluebird day with largely unbroken sunshine. The settled dry conditions and light winds are helping dry out the snowpack and surface conditions are improving again with the snow pack less soft and more spring like and quicker on Thursday. Clear skies are expected to give an overnight ground frost as the snowfields cool the surrounding air in the light winds, this freeze/thaw with tomorrows sun and warmth should further improve the snow with increasingly granular spring snow conditions reforming.
Only the Ptarmigan Tow is currently open, but there's still a fairly decent cover with just a couple of narrow points entering the Bowl from above.
There is a C-box, battleship box and flat-up-flat fun box out in the Bowl, along with a flat-down kinked rail and one high flat rail that you wouldn't want to mess up on! Also some smaller kickers in the Bowl, plus two large kickers and a spine above the T-bar. People have been hanging about enjoying the park in the sun well after the lifts shut then riding down the Traverse, but some walking is required to cross the Cas to the top Zig which is skiable, but it's walking after that. Thanks to h11lly for the photos.
