Looking out over the Cairngorms.
View out over Strathdon and beyond.
Grouse getting thin and worn having been scoured by the storm.
Carpark and lower Grouse / Osprey from the Buzzard.
View from the Buzzard. Can you tell which way the wind was blowing in the blizzard!
Buzzard has by far the best cover thanks to being in the lee of the SE storms at the weekend.
Snowy Owl chair, but it's the buzzard that's snowy this week.

The weekend storm unfortunately scoured the steeper and more exposed sections of the main runs on the carpark side of the A939, the flip side is the Buzzard side is in great nick as it's loaded with snow having been in the lee of the SE storm. The run between the Eagle Pomas is also in good shape as are the low level nursery slopes where there is plenty of space for beginners with the convenience of being right next tot he Base Lodge.
Unfortunately the rest of the main runs are getting thin and worn where they had been wind scoured and there is more snow on the approaches and west facing aspects in Strathdon than some areas of the main side. Thanks to Kammy for the photos.
