Six inches of fresh dry powdery snow overnight - the Lecht was the place to be today. Several main lifts in action and despite the lack of base they offered a great riding with the cold well frozen ground below and a mix of machine packed powder where bashed out, plus options to lay some fresh tracks outside the fences.
Most main runs are now complete and uplift will be subject to demand on Thursday but more are likely to open as numbers pick up as we go into the Long Weekend that signals the start of half term.
Superb areas for those just starting out on the nursery slopes adjacent to the Baselodge with fresh dry groomed snow on a machine made base. The new Wren magic carpet is in action and its great for learners. Thanks to Telemarker for the photos â€' there are another eight in the Public . Reports.
