Limited lift served terrain is available serving green runs and one easy blue (the 105). The Gunbarrel and M1 RaceTrack have remained officially closed. The Zig Zags are broken so a walk is required to the mid-station, thus the main action is up in the Top Basin, though the Upper Cas is available with the Cas Tow loading at the top of the Gunbarrel.
A fairly extensive snow cover remains on the Plateau therefore there is ample scope for high level touring, and some long runs can be had on the South side of CairnGorm Mountain for those with equipment to skin our or prepared to hike. For those willing to expand a bit of effort but wanting the lifts to do most of the work, by holding a high traverse off the Ptarmigan Tow the Cas Headwall can be skied, a short hoof up is required part way round to gain the height required to traverse Coronation Wall.
