Report
Nevis Range had received around 8 to 10 inches of fresh powder from this storm with a further 2 inches of fresh overnight into Tuesday morning. Lighter winds and better overhead with a higher cloud base and more bright spells than the East made for a great day at Nevis.
The best sport is on the Summit, Upper Warrens and Goose where there is some great riding with good base with a mix of skier packed powder and windblown fresh on top of the firm base. Skiable to the Top Station and foot of the Quad giving the full 1900ft of Vertical and ample terrain for all abilities with the lower nursery slopes in reasonable nick with machine packed snow. Middle/lower areas are improving with use as the snow packs down but beware of rocks etc where the snow is unconsolidated.
All front of mountain lifts are scheduled to operate on Wednesday. Thanks to H11ly for the photos. If you have been riding please spare a moment to send your photos to pix2007@winterhighland.info .
