A small selection of photos from CairnGorm on Sunday. The Cas Tow is now closed, so lift served action is restricted to the Ptarmigan Bowl/Runs.
Still a good cover in the main part of the bowl with plenty of space for learning, with settled conditions forecast to return by mid-week this is a great chance to try out a different snowsport.
The Ptarmigan Park has 3 funboxes, C-box, flat-down-flat and battleship, plus 3 rails, flat-down, wide novice rail, flat rail, plus selection of smaller kickers in the Bowl and served by the Ptarmigan T-bar. Just above the tow in the lower part of the Marquis Well snowfield is a large spine and large kicker with alternate take-offs, but the these two need to be hiked to use.
