Report
Light winds greeted those arriving at Glencoe on Sunday and though visibility varied as snow showers came and went, there was some superb sport on offer. There is excellent cover on the main upper runs, where the gullies have an extensive base, also in great shape are the Wall and the Canyon on the mid-mountain. These runs all had a good cover of fresh overlying a firm packed base. The runs to the foot of the Plateau Poma are complete, though there are some thinner and narrow bits on some of the lower runs. Later in the day the keen were skiing part way down the low level Access Run as far as possible then hiking out to the Carpark.
Glencoe looks set to open mid-week this week to take advantage of the more settled and cold conditions which are forecast, so it looks like being well worth a trip during the week, there's a terrible 24hr virus going around you know!
Thanks to Bobbyboarder and StevieMcK for the photos. If you have been out on the slopes please send your photos to pix2007@winterhighland.info and there are lots more photos and reports from Glencoe on Sunday in the Public Reports Section.
