Report
Though some layers of mist came and went through the day there was plenty of sun under which to enjoy the excellent spring snow sport on the upper slopes of Meall a' Bhuiridh on Friday.
Similar day weatherwise forecast for Saturday so it should be a cracker. Frozen spring snow will give a firm but grippy surface first thing, but it should quickly loosen in the spring sun to give quality granular spring snow that improves with each freeze/thaw cycle. Main Basin is great for cranking up some big turns, the Park between the Basin and Happy Valley has a couple of rails and a box out, while there's a kicker and shallow natural quarter pipe at the completely loaded Haggis Trap. Spring Run and esp the Fly Paper will offer superb spring snow sport once the surface loosens.
