Report
The stormy conditions off the weekend and New Years Day finally eased but not before several inches of further fresh snow were put down on the mountain overnight, bringing about a great opening day of the 2007 season at Nevis Range.
Top to Bottom riding was possible, but the best sport and the main action was on the upper mountain where thanks to an already reasonable base in the gullies and main fence lines there was some excellent sport on offer. Plenty of scope to lay fresh tracks, though the snow did become heavier later in the day.
Thanks to StevieMcK and Nigel Webber for the photos from Nevis, more pix are available in the Public Reports section. If you've been out riding please send your photos to pix2007@winterhighland.info .
