Patrol heading up the Cas Tow.
Proof of a wild night - the general thin cover has been blasted off open slopes.
Looking out over the Fiacaill Traverse.
Upper Cas has been offering the best sport recently.
The Gunbarrel is slowly filling out and getting less tricky, but we still haven't had the right combination of wind and snow to fill the burn.
Raising the loading ramp to reduce the take-off!

Report
Photos from a windy CairnGorm Mountain where the Ptarmigan was locked about midday meaning the only way to the Cas Tow was to walk. Very high winds overnight has resulted in a resdistrubtion of lying snow and the general thin cover has been stripped from the open hillsides. The Upper Cas has made some further gains and was offering decent sport of fresh windblown and pisted snow. Where else if anywhere gained is something of a unknown with the only the Cas area open.
Thanks to H11lly (Helen) for Saturday's photos from the 'Gorm. Remember to check the Public Reports for additional photos and info from Scotland's snowsport areas.
