A great day on the weather front, but the snow stayed hard packed on Saturday. After nearly a week long thaw the cover has been considerably reduced but the natural snowfields of the upper runs remain complete with still decent cover on the Spring Run and Main Basin â€' the Flypaper also remains complete, but more snow lower down is needed to be able to get back to the lifts without walking. A partial base remains on the middle runs and the ground is freezing up again â€' very unfortunate to loose so much snow under a high pressure situation after looking so well set up for the holidays but all is not lost thanks to the solid high level base that was building since November.
