Report
Distant haze was obvious from the 'Gorm but on the mountain a largely clear blue sky and unbroken sunshine overhead, almost no wind making it feel very warm out on the snow fields.
The funboxes were reset and there is a C-box, battleship box and a flat-up-flat box. There is also a flat-down kinked rail and the wide flat rail set up with a gap jump approach, as is the C-box. A small kicker has been built off the edge of the sledge park by the snow fence at the top of the Ciste T-bar, which can be hit via the Ptarmigan Traverse.
Those on touring gear report still nice spring snow on the upper Ciste Gully down to below no1 Gully on the East Wall, some larger snowfields over the back and still scope for high level touring on the plateau where the larger areas of snow can be linked together.
A big thumbs up for the crew on CML today for keeping the Ptarmigan Tow going for at least one last slide this weekend. A new sledge park has been built and should be open Sunday. Beyond, well it's Scotland you just never know.
