Report
The Ptarmigan Tow opened on Sunday morning making all Top Basin Runs open with a reasonable length of run from the top of the Ptarmigan down through the Ciste Bowl.

Though limited terrain very nice snow, with machine packed fresh powdery snow on the old base giving very easy going conditions for those who were venturing out for the first turns of the season on Sunday.

It is skiable snow most of the way to the middle via the Traverse, 105 and Coire Cas, but the Gunbarrel is broken so at present there are no mid-station stops. If conditions remain as they are and demand picks up later in the week as the holidays begin the Cas Tow could operate from the top of the Gunbarrel.
