SE winds reached Hurricane Force overnight, but during Tuesday morning the wind dropped off as it veered away from SE and in the afternoon the Sun came out at times.
Top to Daylodge riding on offer giving 1750ft of vertical from the top of the Ptarmigan Tow to the base of the Carpark Tow.
Snow softening from just above mid-station level, so likely to firm up overnight. Still dry and fresh snow on the upper mountain. Most main natural runs on the upper and mid mountain have excellent wide and deep cover.
Coire Cas is in great shape for intermediates up and the Gunbarrel is as wide and flat as it can get, can go almost anywhere between the Zig Zags. White Lady is wide and deep, M1 is decent but has some narrow bits.
Over in the Ciste the West Wall Chair Run/Ryvoan was the pick of the afternoon when the WWP opened. Ciste Gully didn't open, some huge drifts in it were visible from above, should piste out nicely.
