Report
Patience paid of on Monday morning for those who braved the not overly encouraging forecast with the rain showers clearing by around noon to give a dry and fairly bright afternoon with some Sunny Spells. Though the wind was getting quite gusty it didn't pick up enough to cause an early end to play.
A good test of whether snow is genuinely spring snow is what happens when it rains, it should get faster and better and in particular on Etive Glades, Spring Run and the Canyon that's just what happened.
On Monday all runs from the Top of the Access still complete with good generally wide cover meaning a great mix of terrain for every ability level. However a stormy and very mild Tuesday is forecast with rain overnight into the morning. Unless the wind is SE which Glencoe is somewhat sheltered from then the prospects aren't looking good for Tuesday, though it should again dry up for the afternoon windspeeds are looking much higher.
Some doubt about Wednesday's windspeeds, but they should be moderating from the West, early indications for Thursday are for light to moderate SW winds and decent sunny spells.
