Around 30 people came for a mid summer slide at Glencoe on Saturday before a BBQ at the Plateau Cafe. While not a vintage year like 2014 or 2015 when some runs were still fully complete there was still fun to be had with the patches on the Main Basin, Spring Run and a few ventured to the Flypaper.
Most of the action was done on the middle of the upper 3 patches on the Main Basin where a kicker was built on the longer middle one. If anyone plans to head up tomorrow, the kicker should still be fine and the forecast is for an even brighter and sunnier day.
On Saturday skiers and boarders got the Cliffhanger to get them up to 2800ft, but on Sunday you'll need to make your way up from the top of the Access Chair.
Thanks to everyone who came for a fun day to mark the passing of the summer solstice and the start of the count down to winter 2018/19. Let's hope for at least as good a year next season.
