Not quite enough snow for any lift served snowsports as yet but a number of tourers have been out over the weekend. More general thin snow cover on Saturday, but things were significantly more wind affected on Sunday after strong overnight winds.
That made conditions the tourers encountered more variable, but also meant the runs are beginning to fill in.
Good sledging is available by the Plateau Cafe thanks to snow making by the TechnoAlpin T40 and the other gun has put down some whales of machine made snow on the link between Old Mugs Alley, the Plateau Cafe and the Cliffy to provide a base on this often thin but important link.
