Returning to the tows from the Main Basin.

Looking past the top of the Cliffhanger on the upper leg of Mugs Alley.

Main Basin T-bar doing its thing on the last day of April, looking up Ski Tow Gully.

Heading up the Plateau Poma which is still running for access.

Old Mugs Alley still in decent shape providing a good green run for snow plough turners.

Heading up the Coire Pollach Tow on the last day of April!

Still wide and deep cover in the Main Basin.

Bumps beginning to build despite the morning grooming on Happy Valley.

Dramatic mountains and cloudscapes looking South from the top of the Spring Run.

View over the Flypaper Bowl, fresh snow was stuffing on the spring snow underneath on this gradient.

Various lines to explore between the Spring Run and Flypaper proper.

Still a wide expanse of snow outside the Rescue Shed, would normally be in free air above the canyon at this point!

Report
After a bluebird end to April on Monday at Glencoe there is just 1 week left to ride from the lifts in the 2017/18 Scottish Season, with Glencoe open daily (weather permitting) through and including Monday 7th May.

How fantastic it would be to say the weather will be like this through the last week, alas it won't be that straight forward. As of Tuesday afternoon indications favour a mostly dry Wednesday before snow showers move in late afternoon.

There is considerable uncertainty over the forecast for Saturday in particular with a very fine dividing line between a decent day and a mild, wet and windy one. At this moment the forecast models have better agreement for May Day Monday with the balance of forecast data suggesting a dry, bright and warm day to end the 2018 season on.

Most upper and mid mountain runs are still complete and link together giving a spectrum of terrain for early intermediates through to experts. It is possible to reach the Cliffhanger Chair and Wall T-bar on snow from the Plateau Poma via Mugs Alley, and to reach the Plateau Cafe and base of the Coire Pollach Tow via Old Mugs Alley.
