Summit Runs all excellent. Packed powder between the fences where groomed.
Looking down a loaded Goose Gully, excellent riding for the more experienced on this wide red.
Heading back round on Rob Roy's Return.
Cars left by the road after the morning's chaos. The Highland Council needs a rocket up it's arse, it's not just bad for Nevis Range, but lots of Lochaber businesses if Nevis suffers.
Epic day in prospect looking towards Aonach Mor from the road on the way West.
Heading out the Quad Road to the Snowgoose Quad. Fantastic cover to below the top of the Gondola now.
Pisting the Fairway under the Quad Chair, some lovely groomers and endless options between them.
View down between the Quad Chair and the Goose T-bar, ride anywhere on this part of the mountain.
Rabbit Run is loaded and in superb shape.

Well it was another painfully frustrating start to what turned into an epic powder day at Nevis Range. One for which some season ticket holding regulars who were at work are very jealous of those who made it up!!
Some serious questions need to be asked of the Highland Council as to why a short and easy to treat route, that is both a scheduled bus route and of significant economic importance to the local economy is persistently left un-gritted and unploughed until the resultant chaos blocks the A82 as well and the Police get involved.
There maybe a good argument for both the Nevis Range and Glencoe Access roads being put on BEAR's Trunk Road roster, because when there is significant snow around, very large volumes of traffic will be attempting to use these roads and if the traffic can't get up them then major delays result for those trying to pass through the A82.
Anyway, onto the snow conditions and the mountain is loaded with superb riding for all ability levels. You can step of the Gondola and clip in and head over to the Linnhe for quick access to the mountain, or head the other way for the Quad Chair. Back Corries have caught massive amounts of windblown snow recently, so speak to ski patrol for the latest info on these. It should be a good spring over the back!
A very stormy day is forecast for Wednesday and if the wind is even close to forecast values no uplift will be possible, but significant further snowfall is forecast. Looking more promising for the end of the week into the weekend at this stage.
