Firstly we must remind everyone that Lowther Hills Ski Club is a member only facility, for insurance reasons you must join the club prior to using any of the uplift facilities either on the Golf Course in Leadhills, or the 450m rope tow up on top of Lowther Hill. You can join online and bring a printed proof of payment along on the day when the slope is open.
On Saturday both rope tows were running on the Golf Course slope at Leadhills behind the Hopetoun Arms Hotel. Over 35 members out enjoying a good cover on Saturday morning with more arriving in the afternoon.
Unfortunately rain is forecast overnight, club members will receive an email update if there is to be any tows running.
