Around 2 to 3 inches of fresh snow has fallen from showers over the past 24 hours at Nevis Range, but this the showers are now very scattered with a widespread fine evening on the West Coast.
Forecasts say this sets the scene for a largely dry, bright and Sunny Thursday with light winds. Still a risk the occasional convective snow shower might bubble up in the afternoon, but these are likely to be few and far between in the West.
Braveheart Chairlift opened Wednesday early afternoon after the base and loading area was dug out of fresh drifting. Not expecting any delays on Thursday so the intention is that the Braveheart should be open reasonably early. Great riding across the front of the mountain as well with good cover to the foot of the Quad Chair and Top of the Gondola meaning still great sport whatever level of trail you are looking for.
