Report
Glencoe kicked off the 2017/18 lift served season in the Highlands on Thursday with an exceptionally rare November opening for the West Coast.
At present the terrain is limited to a selection of the longer green runs on the Plateau with uplift via the Plateau Poma and Coire Pollach Tow, serving the Plateau Poma Run, Old Mugs Alley, Coire Pollach and the Access Return.
Early season conditions with thin and narrow sections, but the snow has groomed up well to give decent surface conditions so a good day out to get the legs warmed up for the season ahead.
Not yet enough snow to open further up the mountain, but moderate drifting and further snow showers should continue to gradually move things in the right direction over the coming days.
