Fresh snow on the 105.
Heading down the Traverse to Coire Cas.
Good cover of packed powdery snow on a firm base on the Ptarmigan Traverse.
About to put the first tracks down on Horizon Road (link from M1 to 105).
M1 loaded with fresh drifted snow. Jamie this run was closed! Tut!
Coire Cas skiable but thin, 105 better bet as pisted out.
Great sport for novices upwards in the Ptarmigan Bowl. Fence lines loaded with fresh.
Zig Zags very thin, caution required and some walking advised if on new kit.

Report
An excellent early season day with part cloudy skies giving some bright and sunny spells, light winds and packed powdery snow.
Ptarmigan Bowl has a good cover of fresh snow on a firm packed base with plenty of space for novices upwards. The Funicular began mid-station stops during the Afternoon providing direct lift served riding on the Traverse/105 and the M1 down to the middle via the Zig Zags. M1 in great shape out to the 105 via Horizon Road, skier/wind packed powder on a hard packed base.
Thanks to H11lly for the photos. Thanks to Ski Scotland for making me miss the day!
