Report
A band of snow pushed down early morning just before dawn giving around 4 to 6inches of fresh snow around Aviemore. This meant conditions had further freshened up on the 'Gorm with further spells of snow through the day, but while underfoot conditions improved the overhead remained fairly foul for much of the day though there were some clearer interludes on the Cas.
All Cas side mid-mountain runs are complete, still thinner/narrow sections on the M1 and Lady but they are filling again. Fresh snow on a firm to hardpacked base, leading to some icy patches where the base gets exposed.
Lower slopes are filling in again and it's possible to ski to the Daylodge with Care. Photos by Winterhighland and DaveE, additional photos in the Public Reports.
