Report
Wednesday afternoon saw an unexpected dump of over 6inches of fresh on CairnGorm when rain looked more likely on the forecasts. While a number of tourers were out taking advantage on Thursday, the good news for those waiting to get their first lift served turns is that CML will open for the winter season Saturday 1st December.
The Funicular is set to re-open a couple of days early from it's annual maintenance and subject to the usual caveats about weather the Ptarmigan Tow should be open from 10am on Saturday. The forecast is marginal in terms of wind, so do keep checking for updates, but Sunday looks more promising so fingers crossed that this weekend will be opening weekend.
