Fitters working on fixing the Glas Maol Poma after it's hammering in last Wednesday's Storm.

Looking down the Meall Odhar Poma Run.
Not the overall white of Saturday, but with colder conditions returning a superb base now set up in Centre Gully.
Loads of lines still possible on Meall Odhar, best cover towards the T-bar and Caenlochan Poma.
Fionn Coire in the mist.
Still a huge expanse of snow to play on between the top of the Meall Odhar T-bar and the Coire Fionn Pomas.
Sunnyside not living up to it's name, but a good base now with lines to most parts of the Carpark as well as between the fences.

A mostly dry but overcast day with hill fog at times on Monday, but turning colder with the snow firming up higher up after the milder and very wet conditions on Sunday.
As ever when a thaw follows a period with a general overall whiteness, the damage can look more dramatic than it is. Where the cover was windscoured and thus fairly cosmetic, it's gone so the hills look a lot less white overall. However on the runs their all still complete, though some are thin and narrow (such as Carn Aosda which had the least cover to start with), but for the most part with colder conditions returning we now have much more consolidated snow and a promising base for the forecast new snow this week.
It doesn't look as pretty as Saturday, but we haven't had an early season base like this for yonks. Photos by a n other who wasn't at Glenshee today, honest!
