With virtually all main runs complete and good quality top to Daylodge Riding, what did for Saturday wasn't just frequently very poor visibility, but probably the flatest and worst light I've ever skied in.
Skiing in poor visibility due to blow snow isn't as bad as skiing inside a cloud that's denser than the worst pea souper. The photos of the Ciste Bowl are a fair reflection of what you could see in the Top Bowl - sod all, which is why the Top Lifts went off soon after that photo was taken.
There were some better spells on the lower slopes where the cloud base lifted that give much more pleasant riding on the Fiacaill Ridge and Carpark Runs, but even the lower slopes weren't entirely immune.
