Not as wild as opening Saturday, but still blowy on the top of the 'Gorm with drifting snow. Surface conditions in the Ptarmigan Bowl were a mix of a hard packed base and pockets of windblown fresh powdery snow, though the base was giving icy areas it was possible to select lines to maximise the amount of fresh snow ridden on.
Snow came in late afternoon and light to moderate snow has continued through the evening so there will be more fresh on Sunday, drifting in on East winds. Again surface conditions likely to be a mix of windblown fresh and harder areas where the base gets exposed.
Other runs filling in but as of Saturday evening only Ptarmigan Tow scheduled to run with Funicular for access. Thanks to Boarderdownunder for the photos.
