CairnGorm Mountain from the Carpark Run.

Ciste Tow and upper Fairway - loaded.

Heading down the Ciste Fairway, loaded with snow drifting in on West wind.

Drifting snow on the M2 which is mostly full width, a few scoured bits causing some narrowing. Mix of machine packed and drifted windblown powder.

Boarders head past the foot of the White Lady T-bar at the end of the Day.

Seaking flies over the Funicular.

White Lady complete but narrow in places, but worth it for some excellent skier packed powder and powdery bumps forming.

Most runs on the Cas side of the mountain are complete and offering decent to very good sport, but run conditions are varied due to the stormy conditions recently.

Top to Daylodge riding is available via all routes, the Carpark Runs have good machine packed fresh snow, windpacked powder on the Fiacaill Ridge and probably the pick of the day was the M2 with fresh tracks on every run, sweet light powder. Daylodge Run complete, narrow in places and suffering from some scouring in the West winds, should gain more as winds go Southerly.

For experts the White Lady was offering some fantastic skier packed powder, but the access to the Lady proper via the M1 SideTrack was a bit scoured and the run is narrow in places. The M1 on the other hand is wind blasted mess.

Coire Cas is in fantastic shape, with the Zig Zags and Chicken Gully providing Gunbarrel escape routes.

Top Basin has good cover and the Ciste Fairway was continuing to load up as the snow drifted across the fences on Saturday. Novices will find good beginner areas around the Sheiling Tow.

Shuttle buses were in operation on Saturday and it's skiable with care to the Ciste Carpark via the Aonach Ridge, by linking the natural snow fields.
