Skiers left of the Fiacaill T-bar has a good base, much better than the pisted fenced run on the other side.

Crossing the Fiacaill tow track from the Fiacaill Traverse.

Gunbarrel has caught a fair bit of new snow this week and is much less banked.

Widening cover on the upper Cas with loads of space out to skiers left of the uptrack as well as good snow on the main bed of the run.

Ciste Bowl is wide and deep and offering superb run on machine packed fresh dry snow.

Ptarmigan Bowl is wide with excellent areas for novices and early intermediates.

Piste Basher assembling something big in the Terrain Park!

Ptarmigan Traverse looking over the top station to Loch Morlich.

Upper White Lady is good with pisted fresh snow on a firm base.

Good snow on the mid-section but becoming thin and baseless low down so care required returning to the poma.

M1 RaceTrack in decent shape and pisted out via the 105 link which is the best route.

While not amassing the snow like the West Coast has been, the Gorm has been making steady and decent progress this week. The Cas has improved width and depth with several feet more snow in the Gunbarrel than was the case last Sunday, much flater and less banked now.

All Cas side mid-level runs are complete, the best base and cover is on the Traverse, 105 and Coire Cas itself. For more advanced riders the M1 and White Lady are skiable, the best route on the M1 being out the 105 link and down the Gunbarrel.

The upper and mid white lady is offering good sport with machine packed fresh on a firm base, but the lower part is baseless and rather unconsolidated so getting scrapped on the approach to the M1 Poma. Best line is between the diagonal fences on the 'skirt' of the Lady, then under the Funicular (where it's got a safe clearance please!).

An alternative longer blue run is off the round by the Fiacaill Runs using the Fiacaill Traverse, then returning to the Cas or M1 Poma by dropping down from the Fiacaill Crossover to the Zig Zags. The Fiacaill's fenced run has been pisted, but the best route is to cross to skiers left of the Fiacaill T-bar onto the open slope.

From the Fiacaill Crossover you can ski to the Daylodge via the Fiacaill Ridge, but it requires use of the uptrack in places, care is requires esp as the Poma is scheduled to run at the weekend.
