Looking down the White Lady, good sport on top half, approach to M1 Poma very thin.

Late afternoon sunshine in the Ptarmigan Bowl. Excellent wide cover for learning.

Terrain Park features in the Ptarmigan Bowl (direct route by the tow).

Air of a kicker in the Vans Terrain Park in the Ptarmigan Bowl

No trying this one on skis.... but probably the best park set up in Scotland just now.

Wide cover on the Upper Cas extends well beyond the main bed of the run.

Generally decent overhead with just a few snow flurries at times and most importantly light winds for the first day of the White Lady Challenge. There will be more people undertaking the challenge on Monday (17th) and if you would like to join us it's not to late, please visit http://whiteladychallenge.org.uk for further information.

Big congratulations and also thanks for his efforts to Ken Rogers (Hipennine) for managing to beat the the target set on Friday with 35 runs, a quite astounding feat for a weekend.

On the Slopes the Top Basin runs are all in great shape, there are ample excellent nursery areas and for lower abilities it's perfect in the Top Basin for learning.

All Cas Side mid mountain runs are skiable, but the Traverse and Cas area are the best along with the Fiacaill Traverse (go to skiers left of the Fiacaill T-bar) then down the Fiacall to the crossover and back to the Zig Zags.

The M1 and White Lady are skiable, but thin and narrow in places. M1 was good this morning, but was cutting up later in the mid section. Lady improved with use as the snow became skier packed.

Some softening in the sun, so possibly a bit of a skin on the snow in the morning which will quickly loosen to reveal the drier softer snow below.
